WHO WE ARE

We are a team of thoracic anaesthetists running daily operating lists at the tertiary referral center for South East London, Guy’s Hospital. Our group is committed to providing education in anaesthesia requiring one lung ventilation. We run the Success in Single Lung Ventilation Course and also provide teaching on thoracic study days in our training education centre at least once a year for trainees. We also host national meetings in collaboration with other major thoracic centers in London for consultants and trainees. We offer an advanced training module/fellowship for 6 months, the details of which can be found in the fellowship section on this website.

What personal data we collect and how we use it

We will usually collect basic data about you like your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address when you  want to attend an event. We will be very clear with you that we wish to collect such information and our reason for collecting such information, and we would only do so with your specific consent and permission.

Why we need it

We collect information depending on the relationship we have with you but typically this would be

  • When you attend events either online.

  • When you engage with us on social media

  • When you contact us by any means with queries, complaints etc

  • When you register for any kind of course or event with us

  • Photographs and videos of delegates attending our events

However, if you choose to withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.
